Updated coin purse is all flowers...

The coin purse is new and improved with a flower! Yippee! It's a bit more labor intensive, but worth it--right?! I'm making them a bit bigger too which I think is a bit more convenient.

The Whole Family

I finally got my act together to get an entire set of sibling t-shirts and onesies. As the oldest kid in my family I liked my place (and was so bossy to my younger sisters that I earned the nickname "bossy boots") and would have really liked a t-shirt to let everyone know who I was. I can just imagine a proud big sister or brother in their sibling t-shirt holding their new tiny brother or sister in a little sis/bro onesie. Awww, cute, get your cameras!

TotSpot Cafe Event!

Come one, come all to the TotSpot Cafe in Woodinville tomorrow, September 24th and Saturday September 25th to see exciting vendors, helpful services and to check out the cafe. It's a great place where kids can play while moms can sip a latte nearby. The admission is free both days so there's no cost to you (except when you buy something cute for your kids!). Hope to see you there!

Winners!

It was an exciting college-football weekend in the state of Washington! I don't necessarily lean one way or the other on either team (sorry to everyone who is mad at me now for not picking a side), but I didn't go to either school. BUT it was very exciting to watch and hear about the Cougs and Dawgs' wins! Here are some cute designs that any mini-Husky or Coug would need.

A new item!

I'm excited to reveal a new addition to Happy Hollis Design...a cute coin purse! They are really fun to make, very versatile, and can be personalized. They can be made in any fabric, with any colors on the inside or outside!

"I'm One!"

A few times a day Hollis and I review how old she is..."I'm one!" she proudly exclaims. Many moms these days are buying cute t-shirts or onesies for their toddler's 1st birthday. I decided to join into the fun, but offering something even better since these are customized to your child! Pick your number (not just one-year-olds have to have a special birthday tee), pick your colors, pick your theme! Here's an example:

Goin' Fishin'

This hoodie was created a while ago, but the picture of it was hiding on my sister's computer. I found it and here it is! I love the goldfish poking out of the pockets. I can definitely imagine my daughter Hollis thinking it was a great idea to stick fish into her pockets.

Colored T-shirts and Small Threads

This elephant is bold, graphic and bright, but softened with the perfect shade of robin's egg blue. The combination is perfect! It is really fun pairing my regular patterns with the new, fresh colors of the t-shirts!

Small Threads (smallthreadsforkids.com) in Issaquah has a handful of my t-shirts and onesies right now, and will be carrying the colored shirts soon! But, they can still be ordered directly from me, and soon ordered directly from my website!

It's a bit more colorful!

I'm proud to introduce something new! I can't reveal any secrets, but Happy Hollis onesies and tees now can be in full color! The colors pictured: tangerine, yummy pink, soft brown, robin's egg and fog (grey). More colors will be added soon, so be sure to check back. Also, stay tuned for the web launch. Sneak Peek!

Thanks to my friends Christy (www.christycowanphotography.com) and Josh (www.duriasblog.com) I have some amazing photos for my up-and-coming website!! Please stay tuned, hopefully it will be launched in September. Meanwhile, I'm borrowing cute kids that belong to their talented parents to be photographed for my site. This lion turned out wonderfully tactile...there is a lot of soft texture and dimension! The mane is a chopped up sweater that used to be my moms!

One-of-a-kind Fleur de Lis

I had a gorgeous small piece of fabric to make one design. It's a soft velvet stripe in a muted aqua. I chose one of my favorite shapes--a fleur de lis--and I love the finished product! It is one of a kind because I don't have any more of the fabric.

Creme Brulee Kids

Much time this weekend has been spent at the Creme Brulee Kids consignment/boutique sale (www.cremebruleekids.com). It's in Kent, and it has been very fun to meet other great women who create beautiful things and to spend great time with my friend Sarah (www.myoleda.com).
